Scholarships & College Planning

The Bates Scholarship program awards more than $30,000 to children and stepchildren of BAC members. Students in the U.S. apply in the their junior year. Canadian students apply when they are seniors.

Other Programs

• Union Plus Scholarship
  Sponsored by Union Plus through the AFL-CIO, BAC members, their spouses and dependent children can apply for tuition assistance to college or trade schools.

• Union Plus National Labor College Scholarship
  This program assists dues-paying members and staff in pursuing their education at the National Labor College.

• Union Plus College Planning Center
  A one-stop education planning website.
