BAC Leaders Lobby on Parliament Hill

BAC representatives traveled to Ottawa to attend the recent Canadian Legislative Conference sponsored by the Canadian Office of the Building and Construction Trades Department. The program offered professional development workshops and set aside a full day for lobbying on Parliament Hill. From left are IU Canadian Congress Co-Chair and recently appointed BAC region 10 Director Fred Vautour, Local 1 Manitoba Business Manager Frank Krauthaker, and Local 7 Canada Business Manager Dan Plunkett. Also in attendance, but not pictured, were Local 2 British Columbia Business Manager Rob Tuzzi and Local 1 Alberta Business Manager Alan Ramsay.
