As part of the British Columbia Industrial Training Authority’s skills familiarization program called ACE-IT, short for Accelerated Credit Enrollment in Industry Training, Thorpe Canada, a leading engineering firm, is working with Local 2 BC to familiarize apprentices with refractory materials and installations to ensure a steady supply of BAC talent into the industrial sector.
