Pennsylvania Locals Consult on Issues and Candidates

Officers of BAC's three Pennsylvania Locals – 9, 5 and 1 Pennsylvania/Delaware – met on June 11th in Harrisburg to discuss state and local issues affecting BAC members and to confer with elected officials and political candidates.

Joined by BAC Executive Vice President Gerard Scarano and Government Relations Director Jean-Paul Itz, the Local officers exchanged views with State Representatives Gene DiGirolamo (18th Legislative District) and Ed Neilson (169th Legislative District), an IBEW member, and State Representative Eugene DePasquale, now a candidate for State Auditor General.

They also discussed strategies for mobilizing members for the November 4th election, and plan to meet again in late August.
