International Masonry Institute (IMI)
The International Masonry Institute (IMI) is a strategic alliance between the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers and the contractors who employ those members. Through education, technical support, research and training, the IMI works to provide a more efficient construction delivery system.
International Masonry Training and Education Foundation (IMTEF)
The International Masonry Training and Education Foundation (IMTEF) provides in-depth, quality training, certifications and continuing education programs for BAC members in all trowel trades: brick, stone, tile, marble, terrazzo, refractory, plaster, cement, and pointing/cleaning/caulking. IMTEF also helps fund and administer training programs for all Local BAC unions.
Scholarships
True to its commitment to lifelong learning, BAC is a gateway to continuing education programs and services that support members in many ways – as craftworkers, interested in expanding their career options, as parents, helping their children pursue their educational goals, or as activists, seeking solutions for the greater good of their communities, to name just a few.
