JOURNAL: ISSUE 2 - 2015

Since March, a series of competitions sponsored by Skills Canada, a national organization that promotes the skilled trades as a career track for students entering the workforce have been taking place across Canada.

Skills Canada Alberta was held in mid-May at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. Skills Canada events like this offer opportunities to demonstrate bricklaying and other skilled trades and technical professions that students can explore as potential career paths and venues where apprentices can compete and show off their skills.

The bricklaying finals of the 21st Annual Skills Canada National Competition will take place May 27-28th in Saskatoon, SK.
