BAC Executive Board Re-elected

President Tim Driscoll, Secretary-Treasurer Jeremiah Sullivan, and Executive Vice President Keith Hocevar were re-elected for another term at the BAC 2025 Convention on Monday afternoon, running unopposed.
"The confidence that you have placed in me -- and my fellow Board members – to lead our great union needs to be earned every day, and you have my pledge that I’ll do my utmost to continue to earn that trust," Driscoll said in his acceptance remarks.
Sullivan echoed that commitment not to take the members' trust and support for granted, laying out a charge both for the Executive Board and the union as a whole: "We must lead by example with understanding and compassion for the struggles of all working people. We must ensure our union is on the righteous side of history."
Vice President Hocevar repeated feelings of gratitude to the delegation, pride of his BAC membership and commitment to every union brother and sister.
BAC Local 3 Massachusetts/Maine/New Hampshire/Rhode Island President Chuck Raso nominated re-elected President Driscoll. "Brother Driscoll is the most experienced and qualified person to lead our International Union in the future in the face of much anticipated adversity,” Raso said. “He is a man with very high standards and his reputation inside and outside the labor movement is impeccable." The nomination was seconded by Scott Garvin of BAC Local 1 Maryland/Virginia/District of Columbia and John Leonard of BAC Local 1 Newfoundland.
Jack Argila of BAC Local 1 New York nominated Secretary-Treasurer Sullivan, with the nomination seconded by Brian Jennewein of BAC Eastern Missouri Administrative District Council and Al Catalano, BAC Northeast Regional Director.
Hocevar was nominated by Danny Musacchio of BAC Local 23 Ohio/West Virginia/Kentucky/Maryland, seconded by Richard Crawford of BAC Mountain West Administrative District Council and Phillip Husband of BAC Local 8 Southeast.
Hocevar laughingly admitted to not having prepared remarks "because I didn't know if it would be bad luck," but pledged to "build the best union we could possibly build."
