Local 1 Nova Scotia Hosts Bricklayer Training Program

 In collaboration with the Active Partnership Strategy, Connections Career Center, and the Unama'ki Economic Benefits Office, Local 1 Nova Scotia hosted a 20-week bricklayer training program in the Sydport Industrial Park from June 10th to October 25th. Nine students successfully completed the program that included safety training, shop sessions, theory, and on the job training with various contractors.
